Waste Heat Boiler overview
A waste heat boiler recovers the energy in hot gases discharged to atmosphere from furnaces, cogeneration engines, turbines or process stacks, as hot water, high-temperature hot water or steam. It produces energy without burning fuel.
A feasibility study is prepared by measuring the gas flow rate, temperature and composition at your existing plant; the boiler is then custom-designed to these values.
Free energy
Hot water or steam produced from heat that is already being wasted.
Fast payback
Typically pays back the investment in 2-4 years.
Carbon reduction
Less fuel, lower CO₂ emissions.
Custom design
Plain tube or finned tube construction to suit the gas characteristics.

Frequently asked questions
Is a waste heat boiler feasible at my plant?
If the flue gas temperature is above approximately 200 °C and operation is continuous, it is generally profitable. We offer a free preliminary assessment.
