Condensate Tank overview
A condensate tank collects the hot condensate returning from steam-using equipment and sends it back to the boiler as feedwater. Recovering condensate saves fuel (the hot water does not need to be reheated), water and water treatment chemicals.
Yalım Kazan sizes condensate tanks according to steam boiler capacity and return flow rate, and manufactures them in stainless steel (AISI 304/316) or boiler plate (P265GH), with rock wool insulation and an aluminium/galvanised casing. On request they are delivered as a complete package with a feedwater pump set, level control and flash steam vent.

Frequently asked questions
What size should a condensate tank be?
The general approach is a volume that covers at least 20-30 minutes of feedwater at the boiler's hourly steam capacity. We calculate the exact volume from the steam capacity and return ratio.
Should I choose stainless steel or carbon steel?
Condensate is soft and oxygenated, which makes it corrosive; for long service life we recommend AISI 304/316 stainless steel. Where budget is the priority, boiler plate with internal protection is also possible.
What determines the price of a condensate tank?
Volume, material, insulation, pressure class and options such as a pump set determine the price. Send us the volume and material and we prepare a quotation the same day.
