Corrugated Furnace overview
A corrugated furnace is the wave-shaped (corrugated) cylinder that forms the boiler's combustion chamber. The corrugated profile increases heat transfer surface and flexes to absorb thermal expansion, reducing the risk of cracking.
We use them in our new boilers and also manufacture made-to-measure corrugated furnaces to replace damaged furnaces in existing boilers.
30% more surface
Higher heat transfer than a plain furnace.
Thermal flexibility
The corrugated profile absorbs expansion and lowers the risk of cracking.
Turbulence
Better combustion through improved flame and gas flow.
Made to measure
Manufactured to fit your existing boiler exactly.

Frequently asked questions
Can a boiler with a cracked furnace be repaired?
Where the shell is sound, replacing the furnace allows the boiler to be reused economically. We decide after inspection.
