High-Temperature Hot Water Boiler overview
A high-temperature hot water boiler (pressurised hot water boiler) keeps water under pressure so it can circulate at temperatures above 100 °C without boiling. Because it provides a safer heat carrier that needs less maintenance than steam, it is preferred for district heating, large greenhouse facilities and medium-temperature processes.
Yalım Kazan builds its high-temperature hot water boilers in a three-pass, corrugated-furnace design, sized to the project's flow and return temperatures and flow rate. They can also be delivered as a complete system with expansion, pump groups and heat exchangers.
High temperature difference
Heat transport over long distances with smaller pipe diameters and less pumping energy.
Safe operation
Lower risk than a steam boiler, with less blowdown and water loss.
Cascade operation
Controls suited to multiple boilers operating with load sharing.
Long service life
Thick-walled shell and a design with low thermal stress.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a high-temperature hot water boiler and a steam boiler?
In a high-temperature hot water boiler the water stays liquid under pressure and carries the heat; in a steam boiler the water is evaporated. If the process does not strictly require steam, high-temperature hot water is more economical and safer.
What capacity is needed for greenhouses?
Heat loss is calculated from the greenhouse area, the covering material and the local outdoor design temperature. In cold climates such as Afyon, Uşak and Kütahya in Turkey this value is higher; we confirm it with a site survey.
