Solid Fuel Boiler overview
A solid fuel boiler produces hot water or steam by burning fuels such as coal, lignite, pellets, sawdust, olive pits and hazelnut husks with an automatic stoker. It is an economical solution for plants without natural gas or where fuel cost is a major factor.
The boiler body, stoker, cyclone and chimney are engineered as a single system, keeping both combustion efficiency and emission values under control.
Automatic feeding
Unattended fuel feeding with a screw or moving-grate stoker.
Fuel flexibility
Can run on local, low-cost biomass fuels.
Emission control
Dust emissions reduced with a cyclone/soot separator.
Automatic ash removal
Less operator intervention thanks to the ash discharge system.

Frequently asked questions
Can a stoker be fitted to my existing boiler?
In most cases yes, if the boiler's furnace dimensions are suitable. We check this during the site survey and manufacture a suitable stoker.
How are emission limits met with a solid fuel boiler?
Dust emissions are reduced through correct air adjustment, appropriate stoker selection and a cyclone/soot separator, and verified by flue gas measurement.
