Cyclone Separator (Soot Arrester) overview
A cyclone separator (soot arrester) spins the flue gas so that centrifugal force separates out soot, ash and dust particles. It is used on solid fuel boilers to meet emission limits and to prevent soot from being released into the environment.
We manufacture single or multi-cyclone designs according to boiler capacity and gas flow rate.
Emission reduction
Captures most of the particles in the flue gas.
No moving parts
Simple, durable, low-maintenance construction.
Ash hopper
Bottom collection hopper for easy emptying.
Wear resistance
Thick plate and special lining option against abrasive ash.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a cyclone or a bag filter?
A cyclone is an economical solution for coarse and medium particles. Where very low emission limits apply, the cyclone is used as a pre-separator together with a bag filter.
