Hybrid Heating System overview
A hybrid heating system combines a heat pump and a condensing boiler under a single control unit. The heat pump runs when outdoor temperatures are mild and the boiler takes over when it is very cold, achieving the lowest operating cost in all conditions.
A hybrid system can also be created by adding a heat pump to an existing boiler system.
Automatic energy selection
Source selection based on outdoor temperature and energy prices.
Uninterrupted comfort
The boiler is always ready as a backup.
Phased investment
A heat pump can be added to an existing boiler later.
Solar energy
Heat pump given priority while PV is generating.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to remove my existing boiler?
Not if your boiler is in good condition; it can be converted into a hybrid system by adding a heat pump and control unit.
